Open Selections

Use this discount option to apply any custom percentage or fixed amount, alongside common predefined selections, to specific products or to the entire order.

Discount all

To apply an OPEN SELECTION discount to all products in the transaction, go to DISCOUNT ALL.

A window displaying the discount options will appear, featuring:

1. Some common discount presets (e.g 5%, 10%, 50%, etc.)

2. OPEN % (input a custom percentage)

3. OPEN $ (input a custom dollar amount).

If selected OPEN % or OPEN $, input the value and click on DONE to apply the custom discount to the total sale.

Result:

The discount for the entire sale will be displayed below the SALES TOTAL.

Single Item Discount

To apply the OPEN SELECTION for a single item, go to the Sales Screen, select the product you wish to discount and click the % icon below the item.

A window will appear containing common preset discounts and the custom options: OPEN % (for any percentage) and OPEN $ (for any dollar amount).

Select the desired option, enter the value, and click on DONE to apply the custom discount to the selected product.

Result:

The single item discount will be displayed below the product.
