Temporary Item

On VelaPOS, items can be created outside the regular inventory. These are useful for one‑time offers. Once the sale is completed, the item cannot be reused, and it is not added to the inventory.

Main Screen> Number Pad> Sales Screen> TEMP ITEM.

On the Main screen, click on the number pad and input the assigned personal password. 

Click on TEMP ITEM.

Choose a Department and Category for the TEMP ITEM.


Input the ITEM PRICE.

The temporary item will be displayed on the screen as if it were rung up, showing the name of its category followed by a dash (-) and the word "ITEM".

Afterwards, proceed with the payment or continue with any other sales action.
