VelaPay PAX app (Dealer & Agent Only)

This article outlines the requirements and setup steps for using the VelaPay applications on supported PAX devices.

To run VelaPay on the PAX Terminal, specific BroadPos processor apps must be installed and activated. 

Supported Devices

1. PAX A35.

2. PAX A80.

3. PAX A77.

4. PAX A920 Pro.

Required Processor App Version

1. BroadPos Manager - V1.01.83E_20240913 (Version).

2. BroadPOS Rapid Connect - V1.05.16E_20231208 (Version).

3. BroadPOS TSYS Sierra - V1.0.3.39E_20240829 (Version).

Pre‑Installation Requirement

Before installing or opening the VelaPay app:

1. Launch BroadPos (Rapid Connect or TSYS Sierra, depending on your processor).

2. Review and accept the Terms of Use. This step is required for VelaPay to function correctly.

 

VelaPay App Version

Always install and use the latest available version of the VelaPay app.


Startup

Once installed, VelaPay will automatically launch when the PAX device is powered on.


Processor‑Specific Installation Requirement

For Nashville, install the following:
1. BroadPOS Rapid Connect
2. BroadPOS Manager
3. VelaPay Manager


For Sierra, install the following:
1. BroadPOS TSYS Sierra
2. VelaPay Manager
