VelaPay POS Setting

The article walks through the steps to set up the VelaPay pinpad in the VelaPOS settings.

Main Screen> MENU> ADMINISTRATION> HARDWARE> PINPAD

Go to MENU> ADMINISTRATION.

Go to HARDWARE and select PINPAD.

From the PINPAD TYPE dropdown menu, select the VELAPAY option.


From the PORT TYPE dropdown menu, select the IP/ ANY? option.

From the PROTOCOL dropdown menu, select the HTTP option.

Leave the PORT NUMBER field blank.

Leave the IP ADDRESS field blank.

From the TIME OUT dropdown menu, select the NONE option.


From the TIME OUT dropdown menu, select the NONE option.


From the DAILY REBOOT dropdown menu, select the DISABLED option.

Once all is set up, press SAVE and RESTART THE PROGRAM for the changes to apply.
